I'm an expat selling a solid Super for return to the US. I've invested much more than the selling price, $1500 firm.

I had the engine rebuilt by Saigon Scooter Centre and the bike starts first or second kick reliably. Body - there's no dings, no bondo, no rust or pitting; the frame is straight; paint is fine with a little wear. The engine is a 150 cc of course and was rebuilt around a year ago with new parts - cruciform, piston, cylinder, gear box, and seals.

It has export papers (xao so) which are completely legal both in and out of country.

Why rent while you could buy? If you are going to stay in Vietnam for an extended period, renting is a waste of money. Besides, would you feel safe to leave your passport at the rental shop? I am currently enroute from Saigon to Hanoi, actually in Hue now. I should be arriving on Saturday 24th of July. The Minsk has fairly new paint job and it kick starts with no throttle assistance or choke easily! I have also put on new tires, inner tubes, brake pads, clutch plates!, cleaned carburetors 100KM ago, new air filter and generator coils. Also comes with various Vietnam maps, lonely planet Vietnam, tools to work on most all of the bike, big rain poncho, helmet with face shield(cost 350,000 dong), few spare parts like electric box, generator coils, spark plugs, bike lock, bungees, etc. Just about everything you would need!

On a side note if anyone wants to ride out to Halong by or Sapa I would be down, time permitting :)

Tin từ Giáo xứ Cồn Dầu, Đà Nẵng cho hay một người dân trong đội trợ tang của Giáo xứ vừa bị công an Đà Nẵng đánh chết vào trưa thứ bảy mùng 3 tháng 7.
Quỳnh Như hỏi chuyện một vài người dân địa phương về tin này.
Nạn nhân là ông Nguyễn Năm, một thành viên trong đội trợ tang của Giáo xứ Cồn Dầu, bị nhiều công an đuổi đánh và khi được đưa về nhà th́ đă trối trăn rồi chết vào khoảng trưa thứ bảy mùng 3 tháng 7 này.
Ông Năm có trong số những người đă từng bị công an Cồn Dầu hành hung trong đám tang cụ Hồ Nhu. Cụ bà Hồ Nhu, nhũ danh Maria Tân, một giáo dân của Giáo xứ Cồn Dầu, được gia đ́nh mong an táng tại Nghĩa trang Cồn Dầu, nhưng chính quyền Đà Nẵng ra lệnh cho công an ngăn cản. Gia đ́nh cụ Nhu và người dân ấp Cồn dầu nhất quyết đem chôn ở nghĩa trang đó.
Công an Cồn Dầu bao vây ngăn chặn, đàn áp và hành hung rất dữ dội những người tham dự lễ tang của bà cụ, bắt về đồn trên 60 người, sau đó thả về nhiều người nhưng c̣n giữ lại 11 người. Tuy nhiên công an lại tiếp tục lùng bắt những người dự tang mà đă chống lại công an. Nhiều người bị gọi lên đồn, bị đánh đập để hỏi cung, dân ấp đều bị hăm dọa và được dặn là không được liên lạc điện thoại với nước ngoài. Nhiều số điện thoại mà chúng tôi gọi được trước đây, nay đều bị cắt, với lời tổng đài nói là tạm thời khóa hay không liên lạc được. Tuy nhiên vẫn có những người nói lên sự thật dù rất e sợ.
Hỏi chuyện người dân Cồn Dầu về sự kiện liên quan đến cái chết của ông Nguyễn Năm, hầu hết đều hoang mang, sợ sệt:
"Hiện tại bây giờ theo em nghĩ, bây giờ người dân rất sợ sệt, cho nên tất cả mọi tin tức sẽ không ai nói ra hết, chắc chắn là sẽ không ai nói cho chị nghe một điều ǵ đâu, họ sẽ không dám nói một điều ǵ đâu. Bây giờ người ta theo dơi rất chặt chẽ, và theo dơi tất cả các tin từ các Đài phát cho nên họ rất sợ."
Hỏi một phụ nữ: Chị có biết việc ông Nguyễn Năm chết không?
Cô trả lời: Biết đó. Nhưng mà sợ lắm không dám nói đâu.

Một phụ nữ ở tại địa phương cho biết ông Năm bị công an gọi làm việc cách đây mấy hôm, ông bỏ trốn, nhưng đă bị t́m ra.

"À, anh này mới chết bữa hôm qua."

Quỳnh Như: Mà tại sao anh bị chết vậy chị?

Một người dân địa phương: Cũng nghe nói không thôi. Không biết mần răng mà chết, mà giở áo ra thấy ngực bị bầm, tay cũng bị bầm…(không nghe rơ)… Bữa đó có bị công an bắt, nghe nói vừa c̣ng tay là ổng xỉu liền, rồi thả ra mà hỏng biết sao... Trước đó hai, ba bữa công an có gởi giấy mời ảnh lên làm việc mà ảnh không đi. Cho nên cuối bữa đó ảnh sợ mới trốn lên nhà họ,… bị phát hiện báo với công an…. ổng ở trên nóc nhà hay hành lang ǵ đó, công an xuống, vừa xiềng cái là ổng xỉu, thả ra.

Chiều qua ổng mới chết mà. Em cũng nghe qua hai, ba người họ kể rứa, nhưng mà ổng có than với gia đ́nh ổng là kêu cái kêu chi, kiểu ni th́ ổng chết chứ ổng không sống nổi. Chẳng biết mần răng…c̣n cái việc nhà Họ chẳng biết nữa. Ổng đi trốn ở nhà Họ, hỏng biết răng mà ổng lên nhà Họ ổng nằm. Ổng sợ cái chi hỏng biết mà ổng trốn trên nhà Họ đó – nhà Họ chứ hỏng phải nhà ổng. Cái rồi họ báo với công an. Trước đây họ gởi giấy mời ổng hai, ba lần mà ổng không đi họp…cái rồi họ xiềng ổng th́ ổng xỉu liền vậy đó. Mà nghe nói cởi áo ra thấy bầm, tay cũng bầm, hỏng biết chuyện chi sao em biết được. Nghe nói Bác sĩ bảo khám tử thi th́ gia đ́nh họ không cho khám. Mà trước khi chết ổng mửa ra bùn, ra máu chi nữa. Lổ tai cũng ra máu nữa.

Người dân cũng cho biết người em họ của ông Nguyễn Năm là ông Đào, người đă từng được Công an Cồn Dầu đă mời lên làm việc cùng với ông Nguyễn Năm, đă tổ chức đám tang cho anh họ, xin giáo dân cầu nguyện cho ông Năm. Ông Đào bị công an địa phương hạch hỏi, sợ bị chung số phận như người anh họ nên ngă ra bất tỉnh và được người nhà đưa đi bệnh viện cấp cứu, hiện chưa rơ sức khỏe ra sao.
