I am writing from the US and am looking for my grandfathers Red and White full dress Harley. He built it in 1976 (it’s a 1977 model year) and sold it after he had a heart attack in early 1978. The last time I saw the bike I was 5 or 6, but I was able to find a good photo of it.

The bike was owned by Clarence (JR) Palmer was sold out Daytona Florida (out of the Daytona Speedway parking lot actually) in late 1978 or early 1979. He bought the bike at a Dealership that he worked at part time, in Daytona called Robinson's Motorcycle Sales. I actually spoke to the then owner of the shop, but 30 years later it was not something that he kept records on.
The bike is an FLH Electra Glide that experts have indicated is a 1977 and may have been purchased using the police package given the way it was equipped and the relationship between the dealer and local police department. The bike was red with white swirls and had a white seat and was a show bike (won numerous awards awards) - see attached photo - this is the bike. My grandmother is very short which would explain why the rear pegs were so high.

I believe that the bike was a 1977 FLH Electra Glide (I see AMF in the rear of the front fender). My grandmother said that he had taken the bike apart, shipped the engine/parts to Georgia to have them chromed and had the bike custom painted.

All that my grandmother remembers is that the two guys that bought it (were extremely polite, bought her flowers and perfume, etc.) were going to ride a couple of bikes from FL to CA and them ship them overseas (France or Germany is what she thought). She thought one of them owned a flower shop in France?

My grandparents moved back to Lake George N.Y in 1980 (unfortunately he passed away in '82) and he had his 1st heart attack a couple years before, so my best guess is that he sold the bike in 1978 - 1979.
I realize this is a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try and would really like to purchase this bike if it's still salvageable.

If anyone has a suggestion on an alternate method of trying to find it, I'm all ears. I recently worked with Harley corporate and we are 95% sure that the VIN is 2A14160H7. It’s one of those bikes that if you’ve seen it, you’ll remember it.

Willing to pay a meaningful finders fee for anyone who leads me to it. Willing to pay top $$ for the bike. I am e-mailing all of the clubs that I can find in the U.S, France, Germany and Europe.
Please pass on the photo to whomever you think may be interested and/or able to help locate it. Even if the owner does not want to sell it, I would be happy just flying out to see it an possibly ride it, if the owner was comfortable with it.

Second-hand Yamaha YBR. Registered in May 2009, under warranty until May 2011. Serviced at 6300km at a Yamaha dealer, maintenance booklet and receipts available as proof.

She starts up at the first go every time, even at very low temperatures. She's been well taken care of, I've made sure to grease the chain regularly.

Following a small slide-out (10 km/h), I've replaced a few parts - throttle handle, rubber cover of the footrest and the right hand plastic panel.

She'll be sold along with the top case, a heavy chain and SRA certified U-lock, as well as a Haynes manual specific to this bike (in English).

Démarre toujours du premier coup, même par grand froid. Bien entretenue, chaine graissée régulièrement.

Suite à chute légère (10 km/h), j’ai remplacé quelques pièces - poignée accélérateur, et caoutchouc repose pied, et le cache latéral droit.

Vendue avec top case, chaine + cadenas antivol SRA, et manuel d’entretien Haynes (en anglais).

En quelques mots, c'est un scooter très sympa pour la ville, hyper maniable, il se faufile partout, il a une bonne pêche à l'accélération, sans toutefois trop consommer. Son look de vespa va vous faire craquer !

A very good condition Vespa ET4 for sale, 16500 kms, all maintenance up to date. Recent new belt, variator, fluids changed. There are no dents or scratches, a few small cracks in the plastic near the floor board, but you will find not one in better shape in Paris. It is garage kept, runs daily, always starts with first touch of the button, newer battery, everything works and is a blast to ride. Excellent fuel economy. I commute into Paris with ease. If interested in a great, well-maintained and almost perfect condition scoter, look no further.
